This project is mixed media, painting, sculpting, and photography. It took about  4 months to create. This was the first mixed media project I have ever done. In the process of making this me and my partner Maria Ledezma kept changing our minds on what to with it, that's probubly one of the reasons why it took us a while, but at the end we liked the results of our project. We had to think of what materials we were going to use, the colors, and the placement of things. It was a very lengthy process. Even though it needs a little more work done to it, I think for our first time it came out pretty good.

Manjari Sharma's Shower Portraits

Manjari takes beautiful pictures in the shower with complete strangers and they share their most intimate moments with her.She makes them feel comfortable in their surroundings, they look relaxed, as if they weren't even there. They reveal their true selves in this photo shoot. None of the pictures look posed, they're not trying to look pretty or anything, they're just letting loose. In the first picture the model looks relaxed, like there's no worries in this world. In the second picture the guy looks thoughtful, like he's thinking about something in his past, but I love the way she captures the water falling down her face. The both look very vonerable.

In this assignment I also learned how to edit my pictures but I also learned to erase blemishes. I used the clone tool to erase anything that was out of place [my hair].

In this assignment I learned how to use the brush tool and how to edit my picture. I also learned that if you're making your own background you have to make it match with whatever is on your picture, you can't just put anything and expect it to look good. I think I did a pretty good job but could of done better.

This picture looks like it was taken during the afternoon in a gloomy day. The way this picture is organized is not really balanced. To the left of the picture, there is a tree which the girl is leaning on. She's sitting on dirt and infront of her is a man looking down on her.

In this picture you can see the trees in the background and the woodshavings on the floor. He's holding something in his right hand. It he's layeing on the wood shaveings looking towards the camara. This picture was taken during the day. This picture was taken outside. I think this picture is better than the other ones she has done.
